Hello.
Apart from wednesday, I didnt and wont be going to school at all this week. I'm sick...................... Yaaaaay ! *runs around house with hands in the air* I mean, uh, *cough*
I was fine on monday and tuesday, I just didn't feel like going to school. We had exams last week so all they'll be doing the whole week is going through exam papers and the schools having some stupid merdeka celebration and activities for maths and science week.
I went to school on wednesday. I was feeling a little sick so asked Theresa for paracetamol. That girl is a walking pharmacy, I tell you. She's got one whole compartment in her bag filled with medicine. I am very pleased by this. For those who dont know me well, I'm obsessed with medicine. To most people, the bright side about being sick is the special attention and extra affection they get from family. For me, the bright side is gulping pills ! I aint no junkie okay. The meds dont make me high. I just love being medicated. Its one of those traits of mine that cause me to labelled a complete weirdo.
I went to the army clinic around noon. Apart from the many soldiers who stare at you like you're a piece of meat, army clinics are awesome cos we don't have to wait. I just tell them who my dad is, and I'm sent straight to the doctor no matter how long other patients have been waiting.
Dr. Devan is awesome. Not only is he the best doctor I've ever had but he arranged for me to get two injections. Yes, I happen to FUCKING LOVE injections. Yes, another one of my strange traits. I got a blood test for swine flu which came out negative, okay. Then I got vaccinated for regular flu. The blood test was friggin awesome, I couldnt take my eyes of my blood flowing out. The nurse was sorta blocking my view during the vaccination so I didnt really get to see much ):
The nurses were teasing Dr. Devan when we walked in, asking him if I was his girlfriend. So weird. I know it sounds kinda gross teasing a middle aged man about dating a high school girl but Dr. Devan is young ok, he's in his twenties so thats why. I think they all have a little bit of crush on him. I was about to tell him that but then we started talking about trying to pack my friends with me when I move to KL. After he told them whose kid I was, every nurse that saw me said I look like my mom. I get that a lot.
Came home after that, lazed around the house for a while then followed mom to run errands. I've been bumming around the house since then. I have a feeling I'll be doing nothing but that all weekend. My arm is still sore from the vaccination. I can't even put pressure on it, it hurts. It's normal though. Not that I mind. Anything injection related is fine by me. (:
I'm now sitting in front of my laptop, bored out of my mind and literally craving another injection.
