I went for Boys Like Girls.
Picked Steffi and Alyssa up and got lost on the way there. Drove around in circles and had to ask for directions a million times. Told my driver to make U turn and we were driving on the wrong side of the road. This is what happens when Michelle tries to lead the way. I'm horrible at directions. I still have trouble finding my way home from school.
Met up with Boon Hoe, Ravin, Savin, and Jun Yan there. Queued in the rain for like 2 hours before the gates were opened. Wrong day to wear white. Queued for another hour and a half outside the arena. People were pushing like crazy and some girl fainted. Steffi and I saw the paramedics carrying her on a stretcher.
We were standing right in front. The local acts sucked. No one really cared about them. Boys Like Girls were amazazinggg. I've always liked them but was never that crazy about them. I am now though. After their first song, I shouted "Paul, I wanna have your babies!" to them. I sang along with every song. More like screamed along. Surprisingly I didn't lose my voice. Martin Johnson crowd surfed. Shayne got to see his butt. I was so jealous. HAHAH.
Took forever to get a cab home. I was supposed to stay over at Steffi's that night but decided to go home since we were passing by my house. It was after midnight and everyone was asleep. The door was locked and my freaking credit expires. My new neighbours had just moved into the house next door. I didn't even know until that night. I saw them putting up their curtains through the window. Their son was outside so I borrowed his phone. He got such a fright at first. HAHAH.
My dad was pretty pissed the next day. I didn't tell him I was going for a concert til I was at the concert. He thought I was just hanging out with my friends. I managed to twist it all around and put the blame on him saying he shouldn't assume the worst about me and that I was honest and all that bullshit. Watching Boys Like Girls live would've been worth getting into trouble for anyway.
